Incredible 2nd half to listen to.  New Orleans lost a pretty good sized lead, and Leonard was raining 3's.

Thanks for the info. Would you care to provide more details for those of us who missed the game but are too impatient to wait for the newspapers???

Close first half with DeGrate making a 3/4 court shot at the buzzer to cut UNO's lead to 41-40. UNT came out flat in the second half and got down by 14(or 16?) earlier in the second half but turned it on as usual and came back to make it a close game and win. Hopkins led the team with 25 points and DeGrate had 20. Mike Jones was clutch at the end of the game with free throws and rebounding.

Just a huge performance by Leonard with 25 points, and I believe DeGrate had 20 points. Also, Shawnson went .500 on FT's, which helped a lot down the stretch.

Current standings

Louisiana-Lafayette 11-3

Arkansas-Little Rock 8-4

New Orleans 8-6

North Texas 8-6

Western Kentucky 7-6

Middle Tennessee 7-6

Arkansas State 6-7

New Mexico St. 6-7

Current seeds

#1 Louisiana-Lafayette vs #8 NMSU

#2 Arkansas-LR vs #7 Arkansas State

#3 New Orleans vs #6 Middle Tennessee

#4 North Texas vs #5 Western Kentucky

I hope something happens, because playing WKU right out of the gate at their own arena isn't good.

Now that I look at it, MTSU might be ahead of WKU because of overall W/L %. The SBC site still has WKU listed above MTSU, so I'm not sure what to think.

The seedings will likely change significantly between now and the time the regular season is over. It would be great to not have to play either WK or LA Laf in the first round so maybe someone can upset one of them and make the road a little easier.

I'm glad to see that men are at a higher rank then some of the other teams, kind of wish they were at 1 or 2 though that would be fun. wish i could have seen that 3/4 shoot by DeGrate, it must have been awesome

Just curious why is it that our men's team always seems to come out slow in the 2nd half, granted they came back and won last night but I have seen numerous times we go into the locker room with a lead only to get routed in the opening minutes of the 2nd half.

Great Win again by the B-Ball guys but looks like they need to come out firing in the 2nd half in order to do some damage in tourney.

It was the exact opposite in the LaLa game this week. We sucked in the first half and came out smoking in the second.
