Gauthier Places Sixth At Ptarmigan Fall Classic

FORT COLLINS, Colo.- Senior Randi Gauthier finished in sixth place overall at the Ptramigan Ram Fall Classic with a superb final round of 69, three under par to end the tournament at even par 216. Gauthier had to battle blustery conditions but improved her score each round to finish just seven shots off the pace.

As a team North Texas ended the tournament in 13th place after shooting three round total of 939. Baylor captured the team competition by holding off host Colorado State. The Lady Eagles will return to action on September 16-17 when they host the North Texas Lady Eagles Invitational at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth.
