It is only going to get worse.  I read in the DRC last week about a company who plans to open a robot brothel in Houston.  The company already has one opened in Toronto.  As robotics and AI continue to get better people might just a robot to be a mate.  I went online to see what this company is doing and the robot doll can interact with you in conversation.  It is an odd site for sure but I can see it catching on with people more into tech and don't interact like they use to. People may fill more comfortable around a robot because there won't be a chance for rejection.  I wonder what the world will look like in 25 years.

I'm getting married in 5 weeks and I met my Fiance on Tinder. We've been together a little more than 3 years, and it's been great.

Gotta be upfront about what you're looking for, and only give the time of day to people who are looking for the same. If you're looking for long term commitment, then stop matching with people "just looking to have a good time". Doesn't seem that difficult to me

I met my wife on tinder. really, we both were on there just looking to rub privates together and not have to deal with the person in the morning, but things turned out differently.

I think it's incredibly unstable when people say "they're looking to get married and have x-number of kids." they've mapped out a life and tend to be willing to settle for a person in a similar mindset, rather than (perhaps) a more compatible partner...a person they've likely met and ruled out because of this pre-conceived life arc.

I'm far from a religious man, but I've always appreciated the expression "if you want to hear god laugh, tell him her your plans"
