We have not played focused football in 7 quarters now.  Guyton has all but disappeared.  And we have no left tackle.

A performance like this next week and we will drop another one at home.

Coaches better use this next week to figure out or it could get ugly against USM.

Theresa lot of mental work to be done with the offense. Feels like there is not enough confidence

On the D I don't think it is confidence that is the problem.butsome adjustments still need to be made.

Frankly, in the end both the D and the O made UTEPs units look like LaTech. The whole difference from last week is special teams. last week atrocious, this week money.

UTEP is getting better each week.  They will win at least a game this year, if not more.  New coaching staff with very little to work with is doing a good job.

This IS true. They were getting better, and already showed it last week vs UTSA. They will eventually jump up and get someone this season. That said, UNT still played a good deal below its standard. Scary to think, what could have happened had UTEP had Locksley.

LA TEch only 86 yds passing, tells you how bad our DB's played in the game, then tonight against a poor UTEP got lucky that the WR had butter fingers on a 4th and long.

At least UAB giving a chance for team to still win West, if the coaches can kick start the team again

Edit: did not expect the down votes...just trying to be funny, but a 3 way tie is possible for the west.  Or are we not trying to win the conference?

Locksley can't throw, and there's hours of losing on tape there. The QB change benefitted UTEP.

do you only come around when there is even the slightest hint of something bad going down?

can you stop getting a hard-on everytime I post a criticism of the team. Played like crap tonight and got lucky against the worst team in FCS, but I forgot the love of rainbows and unicorn farts here.

I think it is about the body. Sometimes you have to give the body time to recover before going on a flight and playing right after.

Do you think perhaps the above, plus the El Paso elevation of 3,740' vs. the Denton elevation of 630' could have anything to do with it? Let's hear from someone with medical background.  I was surprised they didn't go out there early to acclimate.

That’s a good point. The elevation is real in El Paso.
