I expect that UNT will beat UTEP. However, depending on the injury situation it may not be a complete cakewalk.

The way Mason limped yesterday, I would love to give him a week to get right and play somebody else. That is obviously a biggie right there. Then I am afraid Easly might be done for the season just as he was really finding his stride.

I am not really afraid of the UTEP offense, even if it didn't look absolutely horrid vs UTSA yesterday. Still, I do hope Hall and Ejyia didn't have something that keeps them out too long, but we gotta wait to hear about that.

So I can count 4 high performing starters who might not be ready to go. Even though UNT is overall much better and deeper than UTSA, that would cause a bit of reorganization which makes this a much more interesting game to watch.

Does it really matter if if kick the crap put of UTEP? They are a garbage team and university. Our season is over. No conference championship but we'll get some garbage bowl and probably get blown out by some Sunbelt team again.

As a fan I decided to enjoy Ws as much as hating Ls.

If going less than 12-0 is meaningless unless you make NY6, then most of college football is meaningless in the first place.

Damn, I’m all for raising expectations but 11-1 would be an incredible season and something to build on for the future with almost our entire offense coming back next year and what looks like a very good recruiting class coming in.   I hate that we lost but I am glad we are losing close meaningful games when we do lose.  We are on an upward trajectory for the foreseeable future, but there will be some losses.  If you can’t handle that, you might want to go watch some 6 year old soccer games where they don’t keep score.

We still have an opportunity to win a bowl game. We are in strong position to win 10 games.  Both would be improvements over last year. That’s two out of three possible improvements over 2017.

I believe LaTech will likely lose a game they shouldn’t, maybe even two.

The road to a CUSA title just got a lot harder.  I don’t agree with anybody that says the season is lost. You’re allowed to not like the bowl situation, but the season is not lost.

You're right. We should just hang up our hats and go home. We're witnessing a team that hasn't had a record like this since the 60's... And LA Tech has losable games left.. pity of a season we're dealing with.

Damn dude. The sky is not falling. We lost. We can only control what we can control. We can win out. LaTech could lose a couple. Have some faith. Before the season I predicted 10 and 4 because I thought we would play in the Championship game and a bowl game for a total of 14 games so I still believe we will be in the championship game because I believe LaTech will lose 2 games in conference.
