This is a sad loss. The team could've won it. But there were really also a whole lotta things that were unlucky. Hard to think that a healthy Fine wouldn't be pulling this game out.

In the end the difference between winning and losing here is the difference whether Hedlunds first FG try is doinking outside or inside.

Beat up team.  Let's see how we respond.

Looked great early and then lost focus.  FAU isn't what we thought.  Scary thing is that I don't see anybody in CUSA West that can beat La. Tech.  We have to win out.

This the UNT we all know so well.

We have been repeatedly kicked in the balls as fans of this team, this may be the biggest nutshot of them all..

Again.. We beat ourselves today what a joke

This is the typical UNT fan we know so well.  One bit of adversity and posts like this.  We didn't play our best and La Tech had something to do with that.  Bet this team responds and you are eating crow next week.

yeah we did. Some of these clowns were thinking we were going to win by two or three touchdowns

If we had not made so many mistakes ... if we had not had so many injuries .. we could have won by a few touchdowns.

This is all i keep thinking about. It took a several key injuries on our end (Hall, Easley, Fine), a muffed punt, fumble, first missed field goal of the year, and a blocked fg for us to lose by TWO! The team is good, just lost focus and got bit by the injury bug after having a very healthy first 4 weeks. Lets see how they respond. I'm disappointed because of who it was against and how big of a game it was. Hopefully this team gets back on track next game.

How exactly does us fans saying we were going to win by three touchdowns mean we “need” a reality check?! Pray tell why we aren’t able to have business talking about success and believing in the team. come on man.  You make no sense.

You forget we are fans. We don’t have to play by any rules about that sort of talk. We needed a reality check?! Seriously. Why?!?

Yep.  A bet we get right back on track.  There is a lot of character on this team and in that locker room.  Hate to see the injury to Easly and hope Fine is alright.  UTEP comes at a good time.
