Please post this every week we get votes. Funny, my wife went to Syracuse and we noticed that neither of the Syracuse affiliated reporters voted for Syracuse.

Syracuse, Colorado, and Duke have to have similar strength of schedule as us.  There is no one on their schedule who scares me (this year anyway).

Huh? I don't see UNT playing any ranked opponents this year, much less a team like Clemson.

Their schedules so far,  not for the season.  Looking back at my post, I wasn't clear about that at all.

That's not a static number, but for reference, in the AP, we got 10 votes -- #26 Colorado got 83 and #25 Texas Tech got 106.

I believe you get 1 for 25th, 2 for 24th, 3 for 23rd, etc up to 25 for 1st and then everyone adds up all their "votes" and the top 25 are, well, the top 25.

This seems like the most logical system.

I posted in another thread... That is what it took Western Michigan, except it was 6-0. Similar circumstances, they were blowing teams out too including a regional P5 in Illinois. Took 6-0 to finally crack in the top-25 after receiving votes in both polls by week 3. They had 14 “points” or votes after 4-0.
