Just wondering. For their future projections they show us winning all games and ending with a 11-1 record??

They show the same for UCF.  Likely indicates a probability error that expects one of their individual picks to be wrong.

34 sounds about right, and our top 25 vote total will probably fall in that same area.

Yes, I would say we should never had taken Charlotte and OD, but it's hard to say that the day after VA Tech.

It's hard to say now, but that VT game is clearly a flash in the pan. New FBS teams add nothing to a conference, especially one that's already struggling, I don't care what anyone says to the contrary.

I'm not sure if Troy and App St. are carrying Sun Belt or UTEP/Rice/ODU (except last night) are bringing CUSA down, but I would not for one minute wish to ever return to that conference.  I like playing schools, especially in the West Division, that I've actually heard of.

We need to win and position ourselves for AAC or MW. For selfish reasons, I’d prefer mw for selfish reasons (Road games I can attend).

My sophomoric hot take is if CUSA is going to survive and become more competitive in football, UTEP/Rice/ODU/Charlotte need to just go away. Poach Troy and App St. from the SunBelt. But hopefully UNT gets a lifeline from another conference that becomes someone else's problem.

Keep winning games and then we can have some decent options, not just football but basketball and all other sports.  We want to be viewed as an asset not just a media market.  My best option would be to backfill on the BIG 12* or join AAC.  Just keep winning!!!!!

What’s the difference between SOS & SOS Rk?

SOS (Strength of Schedule) is our rating number and SOS Rank is where our rating falls among all other teams.

That's harsh to say most.  Probably about half of the time...

Not to mention we didnt really bring any 'prestige' to the conference given the 8 years before coming into the conference.

Why in the world would NT want to be in a conference with App State and Troy?   There is a lot more than football prowess to consider when picking universities to be associated with.   Academic status, proximity, overall athletic program and history are more important than who happened to have a good football team at the moment.

Much rather be associated with the CUSA teams you want to jettison than Troy and App. State.

Not gonna disagree, just say that Troy and App State have both demonstrated they are more than “at the moment” programs.  Consistently very good year after year.
