Love it!  What's the origin of "Do you believe in the Mean Green?"  I've seen it a few times in the last couple of weeks.  Is that a thing, or a coincidence?

It's an "iconic" call from George Dunham when NT beat TX Tech back in the late 90s.

Our beloved George Dunham said it during the 'miracle in the desert' against NMSU where Scott Hall threaded the needle on a pass that our offense scored on the last second to win the Sun Belt, I believe. This was back in 2001.  George exclaimed, DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE MEAN GREEN?!  It was a sweet play that brought about 4 Sun Belt Conference Championships.

The NMSU line might be line might be a repeat. He said when we won a nail biter in Lubbock 1997.

I saw jub at one of the games last year. If you see him, ask him if he’s seen Coach Marge?

NT #1 team in Texas.
