They tackle hard and are hard to bring down. Think that Buckshot can pass on them, if he has some time. IF they play like they are today, it is going to be a long day next Saturday. We are really going to have to step up to play them close. Anyone else watching the game? Thoughts?

Enjoy the win over Arkansas for the rest of the weekend.  Then focus on Liberty like it's the conference championship game....and do not mention going undefeated. 🤐

FYI, all those complimentary, "we're in trouble next week", and "best team ever to visit" posts are just bait.

If Mason Fine is what “not handling pressure well” looks like then a LOT of quarterbacks are gonna suck this season

Yeah, maybe they should ask Army, nUTSAck, et. al. about that.

I wasn't aware that Liberty has the equivalent of last year's FAU defense.

wat.  Did they even watch the game?  Mason took hits like a champ.

I was getting my tire fixed and got all the other customers into it with things like, "how did he escape that tackle?!"

Uh....

No. He does.

Think they meant doesnt handle DL jumping and getting hands up without OL doing anything to get their hands down all game.  Not pressure

How on earth did you assume that? And why are you apologizing for him/them? It literally says pressure. And he thinks we had a hard time in this game. Our 2nd string had to come in?

They do have 6 picks against Arkansas...

Yes, but they were in a must pass situation for most of the game and their 2nd string QB had to come in as well.

I thought he was talking about Ark. being in must pass situations and having to bring in their 2nd string QB.  Seems as though he was giving reasons as to why we had 6 ints.

Ah... Ok that would make more sense.

But still, the OP at Ark clearly said Fine doesn't handle pressure well. Ask UTSA about that...

Haha.  Yeah, pretty sure UTSA would disagree.

On a related note,  I thought Mason did a fantastic job of getting rid of the ball to avoid sacks, etc.  Several of his incompletions were throw-aways and some of those were very smart plays.
