You have to make a conscience decision to omit UNT from these discussions.

I truly believe our potential is threatening to the order of things in this area. They DO NOT want us to live up to our potential.

That's that paranoia he was referring to. His rebuttal that it gets seven lines of text was accurate. So which of those teams should he pull off of there? I agree that we have more alumni in the area the simple fact is you're talking about having to pull Big 12 teams and those predictions in order to replace it with a Conference USA team. The week after week of targeting them just makes us look desperate.

Pull the SMU-Michigan.  Our game is much more interesting to more fans in the area than SMU-Michigan.

Yeah. Don’t give a damn.

It’s time Mean Green fans and alumni start standing up to the media and other local teams. They can disagree with us all they want. Screw them. That’s part of this “sleeping giant” that’s been talked about for years. 200k strong in the area need to come together and start yelling at the top of their lungs we’re here and we’re not going anywhere.

Does anyone have contacts with someone that works for the DMN? I don't understand the logic. I'm assuming one more line includes UNT and you don't alienate a whole fan base? Is it an oversight or intentional? Seems like a poor business decision for a dying business.

Simple answer is to email this guys boss or the editor.  Tell him it’s questionsble skill/reporting if they can’t seem to cover something 2 inches in front of them.  If it’s not intentional, then they are portraying themselves as simply ignorant.   Neither of those will win you readers.   They failed to cover an upset, and a game that will be all over ESPN, if only for that punt return.

Excellent work DMN.

SMWho was a 37 point underdog.

UNT was a 5.5 point underdog.

You tell me which is the better game to write about leading up to Gameday. Even without my green tinted glasses on, I can see this.
