Hedlund does a great job recruiting local players.  Nolan is an international player but was recruited out of a local juco, so not a big departure from Hedlund's usual recruiting.  

Soccer is easily the historically best program at NT, but has never won a post season game.  I have always wondered why NT doesn't recruit a few international players to try to get them over the hump.  

It maybe that because it is a partial scholarship sport and to get an international difference maker, NT might lose a number of local recruits to offset the signing.
