Rico and Guyton, imo.

I don't think Guyton is a bail out type guy.  He has a hard time adjusting to footballs.  Rico is much more athletic than Guyton.  Guyton has elite speed for sure but his hips are nothing compared to Rico.  Just my opinion though.

Guyton is a YAC dude for sure.  He's just scary in space after the catch & if one-on-one, he's going to make his man look stupid.
Fine doesn't necessarily need a "bail-out" guy.  His throws are incredibly accurate.   There were a few passes dropped last Saturday by both Guyton & Bussey that nailed them both in the chest/hands.

I mean, if you cant see the difference in accuracy between Fine and anyone else we've had here over the past 20 years (Vizza included), you have become spoiled by him already!

agree 10000000000000% I'm just praying that a few years down the road our next QB can be close to what Fine does.. then we will start making noise

Good article as usual.   I do wonder what QB's you have been watching if you think Fine is not one of the accuracy passers in college football.

I think he is saying that Fine has been off on some throws this season that he normally doesn't miss leading to his accuracy statement.  Fine has missed pretty bad on several throws this season.

Only thing I'll disagree with is he does have a guy who can bail him out on bad throws in Rico

I think Rico has that potential. I just think about that FAU game where he was overpowered by the corner. He has been great, but I don’t think it’s a knock on Rico to say that he is not quite 5-star Preston Williams.

Yes, he has been off a bit. Fine said as much when he talked about the SMU game. He left the pass short on the first half pass to Rico that ended up being a FG

"pretty bad on several throws", may be like 5 throws.   Some throws, he may have overthrown a streaking Guyton or Bussey on a 30+yd bomb.  I think we can all agree, unless you're Aaron Rodgers/Drew Brees/Tom Brady, you're not going to be perfect on those.   Other times, he may overthrow, but only to spots where his guy has the only remote shot at getting it.  I wouldn't say those are "pretty bad".

The ducks he threw up over the middle VS SMU & UIW that were intercepted, or nearly intercepted were bad, yes.

Mason is the most self-deprecating, humble superstar QB I've seen.  Of course he's gonna beat himself up on some misses.
