UNT/SMU  (in Denton). 29,519

SMU/ #16TCU (in Dallas)   24,216

I’m guessing TCU brought a good group to Dallas since SMU generally doesn’t show up even at home. UNT is growing a base in the metroplex.

Weather might have unevened the attendance playing field a bit.

Weather played a very big part, however, tickets sold beforehand are counted even if people chose not to go because of rain.

SMU counts tickets sold * 2 + players/coaches + # of BMWs in the parking lot + ghosts of CJ’s hookers to come up with their final attendance.

There was nothing close to 3k in that stadium.

SMU lied! There is NO way there were close to 25k in that stadium.  And that includes paid tickets.  Why are they allowed to do this?  Can you just buy your attendance numbers now?

We had more UNT student (10,000) at the game last week than are enrolled as undergrads at SMU, (6,500).  A little less than 30% of our student body turned out for the game, that is something to be proud of and they had a great environment, the Hill, to prepare for a GREAT Victory.
