After a fantastic start to the season against a hated rival, the focus shifts to a paycheck game opponent from the FCS ranks.
This UIW team had a pretty decent showing against a MWC team, New Mexico.   Granted, New Mexico is an AWFUL team... and they scored 62 points on Incarnate Word... so, this leads me to believe UIW may be the worst defense we'll see all year.

The team doesn't fall for the trap, and any emotions from last week remain collected.

The Mean Green use this one to work on their running game that was stymied last week by SMU.  I expect a big game from Loren Easly, as he gets rolling early & often.   Mason may wing it around early, but won't have a 40/50/444/3 game like last week.   More like a 21/29/250/2 game.

UIW:  14

Forget score.  I agree that we're going to run the ball.  If the weather is dicey (rain) we may see a lot more of the running game.  I'd like to see this thing wrapped up in under 2 and a half hours with no injuries on either side.

Give me UNT winning 61-10. 45 points in the first half. Subs come in really early as we try to rest players up for the Arkansas game. Please Graham Harrell, let Mason throw for at least 400 yards this game. I want to see Mason beat some records (INCLUDING GRAHAM'S)!

UIW has a decent passing attack and will put up a few points. We will accelerate when the flag drops but ease off in the second half and get backups some (apparently) badly needed reps.

UNT  - 52

UIW  - 21

44-24  I dont think Seth shows the full playbook to UA and stays conservative with the play calling.  I am sure we will work on the running game.  The subs come in and we give up  24.   However this team maybe better then SMUT.
