Thanks for burying the Will Kuehne stats in there so that they aren’t obvious. I hope we can keep those a secret.

Here's the deal on Will, they (Owasso) graduated all of their best players after winning the state championship last year.  They are extremely young and inexperienced at key positions including WR and OLine.  They played 2 of the best teams out of Arkansas to start the season because they have a hard time getting anyone else in OK to play them in non district.  Will is doing great, don't fret too much about the stats on him this year.  Just hope and pray he can stay healthy and a p5 school doesn't poach him.

Maybe I wasn’t clear — I want to keep his stats a secret exactly because I don’t want a P5 school to poach him. His first game stats were great.

But they are logging in to find out if they should hire our coach or not?

Recruits come on here and read the fan boards.  Do we really want a recruit reading a ten page long thread on where our current coach will end up in the next year or two?  On the flip side, recruiters are not coming here to research recruits.

Good!

Then they'll see a much better, more active message board than they'll see when looking at other C-USA/AAC teams' boards!
But the good teams in those leagues will have the same kinds of threads if the team is good.  They'll have threads calling for their coach to be fired if they're bad.   Either way, they wont have as many people talking about it.

GMG.com is a P6 as far as college message boards go!

My students are pretty web savvy.  I can't fathom any of them getting worked up over a bunch of rumor mills posted on message boards.  They tend to know the environments they are logged into.

Then again, I don't understand how these kids think Wiki should be considered a final reference for their academic writings. lol
