Fear not....

Not afraid of finding a good coach. I'm afraid that the recruiting class disintegrates and we have a dozen transfers. We go from having a good team, to needing a 3 year rebuild.

Always a risk when this happens to G5s

Absolutely, I hope they are looking at game tape from our 3 losses, FAU and UTSA to see why we are giving up huge leads.

They already do that after the games, heck our head coach might be out of the door.

I could actually see KState go after Klieman at NDSU, kept the juggernaught going, if not maybe UNT looks at Klieman if SL does leave

But if they did that after La Tech, then why did it happen again against UAB. Then so on and so forth

I bet the KSSt job boils down to Venables (if he wants it) - alumnus, Leavitt - alumnus & Littrell would be option #3.

I say no to unproven FCS coaches. We need leadership that knows how to win/lead a FBS team.

Billy Napier was unproven before ULL

Neal Brown was unproven before Troy

Seth was unproven before UNT

I don't think he gets on Twitter and folliows our top 3 offensive minds on a whim post from joeBlowPurpleCatPride2003.

Why not? If you were a 19, 20 year old QB and read a "report" wouldn't you? I'm following Gene Taylor the KSU AD and I don't know shit for sure.

Agree to all.

But if we're willing to cough up $2mil+ for Seth Littrell, we could cough up $2mil+ for Neal Brown or Billy Napier & keep the train rolling, and maybe take it to new heights.
Or, I'm not totally opposed to Morris, but he could definitely be had for $1mil or less.    He is in the same boat as Littrell (looking for opportunity... money will come).    Plus, with the fight those guys put up during our game this year, I'm willing to bet we would have little-to-no transfers if he came on board.    We may lose some of our '19 recruits, but I bet most of our existing team hangs around knowing Morris' system will look a lot like Littrell's.

Still odd that no other media outlets have picked this up.

So far we have a VIP message board

The beat writer copy and pasting that story

and a player following coaches on twitter

Seems like someone would have leaked something by now...

No "source with knowledge of the situation?"

I bet it has to do with being respectful toward Snyder and him announcing it the way he wants.

Napier and Brown are at the top of my list.

But Morris as done at IW has been eye opening. And recruiting will not be a problem. Incarnate Word has been beating out FBS schools for recruits already.

Football Scoop

Again, they're just reporting who KSU's top choice will be. Not sure why so many UNT fans are getting so defensive about it...
