Nope, I prefer one thread, but why pin it?  It is like owning a nice cafe and then posting on yojr webpage your speculation about your chef leaving.  Makes no sense to me

If people can't see the pinned thread they post new threads. Again, if you don't want to read it, skip clicking on this thread.

Mike Leach said yesterday he's happy where he is and that Tech didn't pay him 9 years ago when he won 9 games, so they're not going to pay him now.

Don’t forget that he also threw in “and they haven’t won 9 games in a year since.”

Not my point?  I don't read half of it.  It is the fact that people on here have spent the last 6 weeks speculating/assumming he is out the door and it is place right there at the top of page 1.

So my feeling is:

TTech won't go for Littrell

That leaves Colorado, Louisville and (maybe) KState

For some reason I don't think Littrell goes for Colorado

Maybe Louisville but not likely?

KState is the wild card.....

My unscientific odds:

TTech - 2%

Colorado - 5%

Louisville - 8%

KState - 15%

UNT - 70%

I think KState would be crazy not to go after Venables.  He's an alum, and is a great defensive mind.

That would make a lot of sense. But Venables son is a freshman at Clemson. He came out last week and all but said he isnt leaving. He sold his son on the dream of playing Clemson football. And if he left he would be a liar.

Our hope for K state is Stoops wants to give coaching another shot (rumor is he is building a house in Little Manhattan)

or Jim Levett (K-State alum) gets the offer.

I thought I read that Brohm said he was going to stay at Purdue....but now I'm seeing he met with UL and a decision is expected today...

Seems like he'll be at UL

Man...Purdue has a top 25 recruiting class too.

The more I listen and learn about Billy Napier, the more I hope we hire him away if Littrell leaves. He comes from a solid background with stops under Saban and Todd Graham and his offense at UL is pretty prolific. He's another good ole boy and would be a seamless transition IMO.

Edit: Here's the opening part of his press conference for UL. Pretty impressive

Billy Napier is high on my list. But wouldn't be upset if we tried to keep the Culture going and give Tommy Mainord the offer to be Head Coach

Mainord over Harrell?

Interesting.....
