UNT Soccer beats Pitt 4-1

What was the Mean Green soccer team’s alumni reunion game, which hosted over 20 North Texas soccer alums who combined had more than 50 conference championships between them, was also an alumni game in the coaching boxes Sunday at the Mean Green Soccer Stadium.

UNT and its head coach John Hedlund, a 1984 Midwestern State soccer alum, faced off against Pittsburgh and its first-year head coach Randy Waldrum, a two-time NCAA National Champion head coach at Notre Dame and a 1980 Midwestern State alum.

On Sunday, UNT got the best of Pitt as they won 4-1.
