🤷🏼‍♂️ Tried to tell you.. they’re a different UNIT.  Wait until Faison and a few other guys figure it out as season goes.. we got some serious depth!!

Did Faison play? I had a hard time keeping up with who was in late in the game.

I did not see, he was a 3 in camp not bc of talent simply learning the defense and calls.

The first and second DLine is really fun to watch...

Bryce and AJ plugged multiple gaps last night.

TJ?

Wait until Bryce plays himself back into real football shape/speed. He is gonna start wrecking havoc.

I turned to Kim at one point and said I could hardly recognize Hambone at first. He's significantly trimmed down.

That was the most shocking turnaround I think I’ve ever seen.  Defense was bad last year.  I thought they outplayed our offense last night. Never expected that.

Credit those players and coaches and hope they can keep it up.

Defensive line played much, much better than last year.  When they do that the QB doesn't have all day to pick you apart, the running backs have to worry about getting hit in the backfield, our linebackers don't get mugged by guards, and the dbs don't have to cover for six seconds.

The line is only going to get better as the year goes along.

I focused on our secondary much of the first half.  They were impressive.  You rarely saw any seperation from any SMU receivers.  My Dad heard me repeatedly say to him, "No one was open."
