Jeff was just cut by the 49ers at the deadline.  However, reports are saying their starting RB potentially went down with a torn ACL today at practice so there might be a good chance he gets brought back as the 3rd string guy.  Hopefully practice squad at the very least.

Yea - I really think he should at least get on the practice squad with the way he played. Hopefully he stays ready, it’s a long road to an NFL roster, but he has the talent!

Can't get rid of the feeling, that they didn't really give him a fair shot. He did ok with the touches he did get.

One of my impressions of the pros is, sometimes you can do everything right and it’s just not gonna happen

Was just going to come and post that he made the practice squad.  With the running back situation being what it is in SF, I wouldn't be surprised if there's another injury at running back and he gets elevated to the active roster.

Really glad they took him at least to the practice sqaud. And yes, with the situation being what it is, he might actually eventually get on the 53-man roster. That said, I could also easily imagine SF making a trade to improve their Rb situation wiht a more known quantity. Still, at least Jeff gets more time to impress them.
