Rice seems to be improving quickly up 7-3 and got the ball. I knew that Houston was not nearly as good as everyone says (Major Applewhite sucks), but Rice is still a lot better than last week.

FAU making C-USA look bad right now.

Rice could be benefiting from already playing a game.  Hope they can hang on.

Gosh, I just hope FAU will takle like that against UNT. lots and lots of missed tackles.

I was just thinking that. And that by the time we play them their new coordinators and players will no longer be new. ☹️

Some too early observations-

Applewhite and Herman are on the clock

Lovie Smith is a disaster

There's a huge difference between being a good G5 and a G5 that can compete with the big boys. See UCF vs FAU

You can suspend your head coach and it doesn't really matter

Never schedule a top ten FCS team

KK at Tech proves you can't always go home again

FAU will still win CUSA easily...they have way more talent than anyone else in the league, even if semi-pro OU is on a whole other level.

Only if Robinson significantly improves. Their secondary might be vulnerable too.
