That is ehmmm ridicoulus. Even IF UNT were to miss 6 wins, there is no way C-USA is gonna get less than 8 teams in.

Think about it: C-USA somehow managed to retain each and every single coach who had any success this offseason. Not a trivial thing to do for any G5. The only coaches who changed were ones who couldn't even muster 2 conference wins. Add to that, that looking up and down the rosters of C-USA the number of returning players are above the usual numbers.

C-USA is gonna have an up year. Book it!

C-USA only has 7 bowl tie-ins, and not all of those are guaranteed to take a C-USA team.  C-USA does have secondary agreements with 2 other bowls in case their primary conferences aren't able to fill a spot.  I'm not saying we couldn't get 9 teams in bowls like last year, but everything would have to go just right.
