Line hasn't moved much since june, always been between -3 and -3.5

The over/under somehow got moved down from 74 to 71. I don't really know why that would be other than maybe people reporting out of camps that defenses look less shabby than last season. Still feels like an over to me though.

 Last year UNT games went over 71 in exactly 1/2 the games. including the SMU game.  

This would seem to be a duplicate of last years game, hopefully with a reversed score though.    I am taking the over on this one also as both offenses seem way ahead of the defenses.

I just cant take UNT and give 3.5 points though.    This is a tough game to figure out as SMU has a lot of talent also.   It seems almost dead even to me and the team that turns the ball over will probably come out on the short side.

Over is definitely the play here if you’re looking for action on this game. I would not take UNT and give 3.5 on a rivalry game where both teams are playing the first game of the season. Too many questions in all phases. SMU is very talented even though they are breaking in a new coach...
