Good write up on the scrimmage, exciting to hear about the positive team chemistry! 

Anyone know if we will have everyone for SMU game? Any injuries?

Has our run defense got that much better or has a running game slowed down.  I thought the defense did a good job on the runs yesterday.  The spread the plays out.  Always hard to tell when you are playing yourself in scrimmage.   I did not see that we did anything with the punting unit.   Wonder how that is coming along.

Anyone notice how drab the playing surface looked? For new turf, I thought it looked worn. The end zones look good but the Texas silhouette was barely visable. I hope something can be done to brighten it up a bit.

I was only there for  the first 15 minutes (niece's birthday party) but they were running punting drills to start. Didn't get numbers but I saw a couple of really nice punts, i.e hang time, distance, etc. And that was against the wind. 

 

Happy my niece wasn't born during football season.

The surface seems to act like it needs to be raked after every play. It looks incredibly trampled down.
