Man this team is going to be good this year!!!

The fun thing about this team is that everyone on the roster gives you skill offensively. Last year we were playing a lot with 2 or 3 guys on the court at the same time who brought you very little offensively and could not stretch the floor. This looks like a very well put together team with a lot of guys who can hurt you.

How about  that Scott Davis!!!  Singlehandedly took control and beat SMU a few years back, not to mention his performance against the Horns in '88.

Oklahoma State played in Europe as well this summer (Italy, Greece, and The Netherlands). They lost to the Italian National B Team by 27. Would like to see how we would fare against that same squad.

I believe this team will be scary good. That offensive production is amazing having not played a competitive game since the CBI. Grant is absolutely the right guy for the job. Tony Benford is all but forgotten. Haha.

We may be playing well but the competition seems to be pretty weak.  I'd much rather see us playing close, hard fought games.  Blowing out every team we play doesn't help us much.

True, but when you play Italy's "all-stars," I presume they are giving you the best they have?!?

I see your point but it would be concerning if they played to the level of the competition.  This is a program that hasn't had a lot of "don't let up with a big lead" games in recent years.  There's value in learning how to prevent another team from getting back in the game.

There is value in that.

I wouldn't assume that.  It might be more of the "best available".

Maybe the case. Regardless, the point of these games is not necessarily to give our guys the most battle-hardening games. It’s to experiment with some lineups and build chemistry on the court, among other things.
