Thought this would be a fun thread to discuss your favorite Apogee Stadium concessions, including food, beers, desserts etc.  What is your staple?  What would you recommend others try?  What are new concessions they are offering in 2018 or you would like to see them offer?  Where is the item located in the stadium (Alumni/Student side, under the wing etc)?  Here is one option I missed that I may try this time around:

Hard to go wrong with BBQ.

We always buy Poppys popcorn though.  That's the only constant for us although other selections change for us game to game.

The kettle corn is a must and I usually take that home.  The tortilla wrapped jalepeno sausage is my staple.  Super good and easy to eat.

Kettle corn has been my favorite for years. Beth Marie’s ice cream is always good, too. Cannot wait for the 1st!

Yes! I was just going to type that, Harry. That is also my "go to" but I think I'm going to have to try a "Wrecker". Have to head to the kitchen now, it is lunchtime and you have made me start to drool.

This may be weird...but I find it hard to eat at the games....

I usually scarf down whatever I have (hot dog, etc) But I can't focus on food.

I'm too "pace-ey" or something. I can eat at any other sporting event...but it's difficult for me at Mean Green games

The beer however, flows down my gullet like a roaring rapid...but I just have a hard time sitting and eating during the game....

My kids will love the mini corn dogs though....kind of excited about those

I don't think I have ever bought a concession at Apogee except maybe a frozen lemonade, a favorite of my daughter's when she was younger in the Fouts days.

Ok Monopoly guy, we all know you have club seats. 🎩

I thought the club food was good the first couple years but it has become meh.  I hope they are pulling out all the stops this year since there are so many new club members.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

I come in through the gates by the hill, walk about 20 feet? turn right and make a b-line dash to the beer line.

Which brings up a question for me....does the school receive any revenue from beer sales? If so....drink up my friends

Of course the athletic dept. gets a piece of the action on concessions.  In fact, if possible, they might find a way to make a buck on restroom attendance.  Can't blame them for searching for any source of revenue.

I am usually full from tailgate!

But when I do occasionally need a scoop of Ice cream at or near halftime.  Or it is water bottle.

I am looking for a way to continue to show praise for my food porn, Poppy's kettle corn. So let me ask: which of the vendors has been with us the longest?

I'll go with Poppy's.

GMG

By the way, I never eat it at the game, but I buy 2-3 bags for home, the number depending on how many weeks it is until our next game. Sadly, I can't buy enough in November or December to get me to September.

The Wrecker?

What is it wrecking? The opposing team? My gut? The bathrooms?

Or is it a more subtle attempt by Wren "The Wrecker" Baker to put his name on it?

Either way I'll take 2.

I guess concessions got its own website last year.  It doesn't look updated for this season, but here's every menu from 2017.

Kona Ice needs to make some changes.  Their 12 oz Kona ice comes to 25c/ounce.  Their 16 oz Kona Ice also comes to 25c/ounce.  Their 17 oz Kona Ice comes to $29.4c an ounce!

The hell, Kona Ice?  What happened to you?  Your ice used to be...wait for it...cool, man!

They also have a very active Twitter feed where they are showing what the options will be for this year.

Not that it matters to the 🎩🎩🍾🥂 crowd...

To be fair, I don't tend to be much of a stadium concessions guy no matter where I sit.  I'm looking through all those menus, and I don't see much that I would generally want.  I'm by no means anything along the lines of some crystal worshiping yoga practicing vegan, but stadium fare tends to be a bit much for me.  Age has a way of punishing me exponentially more with each passing year for such indulgences.
