Great game tonight here in Bowling Green.

The pressure early in this game gave UNT fits, but fortunately WKU doesn't have the depth for this kind of pressure the whole game. UNT needs to find a way to make teams like WKU pay for a ¾ court press, instead of the turnovers.

Hopkins (25 pts) was extremely impressive to me, with his quick first step especially when when he dribbles to his left.

29 points off of UNT turnovers really is what won the game for WKU, but I counted 4 times that Nigel Dixon traveled and he was only called once. One time he took TWO WHOLE STEPS without dribbling or shooting and was not called.

JJ apparently was as frustrated with the officials as me when he stormed onto the court with 22 seconds left.

North Texas is capable of beating any team in the Sunbelt playing like they did tonight. 51% shooting and great free throw shooting by UNT really impressed me.

At the end of the game, it was me and only me yelling while the WKU players were shooting Free Throws. I like to think I made them miss a few times! tongue.gif

I know it was a great game on the radio, it sounds like you got a treat. Hank mentioned that Dixon was taking steps everytime, I guess it's hard to cover someone in the post when they have a different set of rules. Being 320 pounds didn't help either.

You are right, without turnovers, especially the four in a row in the first half that took it from a 6 point NT lead to a 5 point WKU lead were the difference.

Let's get back to Diddle and win them all.
