NICE find! For those that didn’t know, Dabney wore a Mean Green Shirt on a TV show in the 70’s (Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman)he was in that he picked up from Fry while working on this project.

Here is a tidbit about Hayden Fry and the series "Coach".

Quote

The creator and producer of the show, Barry Kemp, an alumnus of the University of Iowa, paid homage to his alma mater by naming the main character of Coach (Hayden Fox) after the University of Iowa's longtime football coach Hayden Fry.

I love the theme to the show. I've always thought that after all of the usual spirit songs played at the end of our games, we should play a musical salute to our coach (especially if we win the game) by playing the "Coach" theme.

Only I'd want it to be more up tempo than this recording.

Nothing to say about it that hasn't been said earlier in this thread. Damn good use of my time to watch it!

Coleman even worked his admiration of Fry into the movie 9 to 5. Towards the first of the movie he’s telling his secretary about the value of teamwork, he says “Coach Fry used to say a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.”
