September will provide great opportunities for wins against SMU and Arkansas. If North Texas beats SMU we are looking in great shape. The author is hoping for a sellout at Apogee against SMU.

I like this article, this year is the perfect year to get W's against SMU/ARK. Although, I believe we should be winning against SMU every year... They have lost some good Seniors and are starting new coach that game. I wonder if SMU will travel a little better given that they want to see what their new coach can do his first game? I know that's a lot to ask the SMU fans. drive 30-40 miles north to see a game please...

Arky, I'll be at that game! Can't wait! Going to see with my Arkansas alum brother and his friends. If this is a year to pull an upset against an SEC team. It has to be one of the biggest rebuild years Arkansas has had in awhile.

A sellout and victory versus an SEC team are both in the "I'll believe it when I see it" category.

Hoping like hell for both, though. In my 25 years of fandom, I can only think of one P5 victory on the road.

They watch the game from their glorified front lawn on big ass flat screens.  They are not going to travel any better.  In fact, I anticipate less traveling because they will be pessimistic about the new coaching staff.

Given our history, I'd normally be ecstatic if we're 2-2 when the calendar hits October, but this year I'll be a little disappointed.

The new-ish looking Mustangs head up 35 to contest the Hippogriff Trophy once again.

My god, why isn't this a thing? It makes so much sense.

On Liberty: Scheduling this game doesn't make much sense, but here it is. Liberty, an FBS so unpopular even the Sun Belt won't touch it, welcomes the Mean Green.

Thank you fellow objective rational human. This is the correct take.

I expect the SMU game to be one of the top 3 most attended games in Apogee history.   Maybe even the most attended.   We should have a little bit of momentum coming into the season and bringing back almost all of a top 25 offense in the country should be a good start for attendance!
