1. North Texas Mean Green

Current Projected Starter: Mason Fine, Jr.
Fine throws way too many interceptions, but he also threw for over 4,000 yards and should be among the nation’s top bombers. No. 2 man Quinn Shanbour is back, too, after getting in a little bit of work.

There are only 2 guys in all of FBS (Nebraska & ARSt) returning that threw more INTs than him last year.

As we all know it is not how many, but the % to attempts and completions. Throw for 5,000 yards and throw the same interceptions and he will be all world!

It's about 3% or 1 INT every 34 passes.

Translation = not terrible but not great. Needs to improve. (worse than average)

Steve Ramsey's two best years were 68 &69

                                     cmp    att      TD       yards         Int

1969 Steve Ramsey 195     414      24      2,828         31

1968 Steve Ramsey 177      332     24     2,516           17

In 67 he had 19 int's.  According to the 2017 record book, he is still the all time Int leader with 67 over a three year career.
