Just read where the Big 12 at this time is lacking star power at Qb?  If Fine just repeats last years stats could he be the best Qb in the southwest and get the publicity for it? What a ride that would be! GMG

Possibly if he shines against Arkansas.  He has to get some sort of protection.  Some of that is our defense has to not allow us to be down so big early.  We don't want to take away are running attack early and send Fine running for his life.

He is currently garnering attention among mid major-oriented sites/pubs.

Hopefully Fine continues his momentum and piles onto his existing Romo-esque highlight reels.

Shawn Robinson at TCU and Sam Ehlinger at UT could also have some "star" power, but none will put up numbers comparable to Fine.  The key to Fine's season and avoiding the "yep, but he did it against inferior competition" is to beat or play extremely well at Arkansas and blowing up against everyone else.

Some form of air raid teams typically rule the statistical roost, so we should continue to look toward Tech, WVU, and OU to put up stats.

If Fine can keep pace with these guys, that's a start. Chad will continue to run the power spread from Clemson and SMU, so it could be a high flying adventure vs Arkansas.
