Simmons came back in the second half and looked fine but after the excitement of the game who knows.  Hope he is back because he does make a difference. what was wrong with Ferrari?

All he did is aggravate an existing knee injury. He'll be expected to play (and start) but will likely have the knee brace to start the game.

I think Ferrari rolled an ankle.  He makes USF go.  Without him, they are lost.  I would expect him to give it a try unless his injury is worse than initally reported.  I actually hope Ferrari and McCarthy both play, but injuries are part of the game this time of year.

According to the USF message board, McCarthy is out, but Ferrari is a go.

Love their comments and how none of them refer to the beating Woolridge took on a drive to the hole and the following ticky tack call we had called on us on the other end of the floor.

Either way, I hate to hear about McCarthy.  Hope he doesn't suffer any long term issues.  Sounds like this was his fourth of the year.

Tope hit him with an elbow on the way down from a made bucket from close range. Legal basketball move and a good non-call by the refs. Unfortunate accident but by no means intentional or with malice.
