New Recruit Listed on CBS Sportsline

CBS Sportsline has recently added combo guard Bamfield Harmon to the NT recuits list.

Harmon, who also was a star football DB-WR, played HS basketball at The Colony HS in Denton County where he was overshadowed by team mates Bracy Wright (Indiana) and Deron Williams (Illinois). Still, he was able to show enough to earn a good rating from Texas Hoops and a scholarship from Rhode Island of the Atlantic 10.

He played one season at Rhode Island before transferring to Tonkawa Northern Oklahoma JC. He has posted a 1000+ SAT and is elegible to play in 2004-2005. He is not nearly as sought after now as he was after high school graduation. CBS Sportsline lists Nicholls State, Texas State and SFA as other schools interested.

Harmon was known as a very good defensive player. At The Colony he often guarded the other team's PG instead of Deron Williams.
