It's amazing how little has gone our way tonight. Some our fault. Some just chance.

Yea - so many loose balls have bounced their way. We've also knocked the ball out of our own hands multiple times.

USF 58 -------- NT 47

7:02 to go

I will say...the second half has given me a lot of hope toward Game 2.  If we could grab a freaking rebound we might have this game to five points now.

Duffy has done very Little’s tonight. He is a huge liability defensively. I would get Holston in there because we need some height and some defense. We are to short and our guys are not hitting the three. When it works it looks great, but we need to change it up tonight and get back to feeding Holston and Lawson in the paint. Work it inside.

Not sure if this is in the same vein, but I believe @BillySee58 posted something about this being counter-intuitive.  Having Duffy in there - when he is effective offensively - equates to better defense overall.  Offense is more efficient, shots fall and we get set defensively better.

Maybe he can clarify or say otherwise.

Regardless of how it goes from here on out, I have confidence for Wednesday and Friday.  We took a haymaker from them, on their floor, and didn’t buckle.

A Benford team would be down 40 in this game...ok, to be honest a Benford team never makes it to this game

Simmons does have a ton of rebounds, but honestly I feel like Arikawe is more attentive and aggressive on the court. He wouldn’t be losing these passes from Woolridge and he would body up anybody in the paint. Why doesn’t Grant play Arikawe more?
