Curious, how much coverage did last night's game receive in the local media?

There was a brief video and voice report of the Monday game. I went back to Channel 4 last night in anticipation...crickets. Zero, zilch, zip, nada.

As fun as this has been, CIT and CBI don't draw a whole bunch of media attention regardless of who's playing in it.  

Getting to the NIT championship game would get eyes.

ESPN can't carry the CBI tournament because they are broadcasting the American Corn Hole league in Las Vegas.  Maybe we need the commissioner of the American Corn Hole league to negotiate a tv package for CUSA.  Think I am kidding turn on ESPN 2.

Thank good fan and alum Dandy Killeen at Channel 11. Even though I have to turn it off as soon as it is over so Colbert won't bleed my brain dry, I only watch Channel 11. For North Texas coverage and for no Dale.

DMN had a paragraph on CBI and at least mentioned UNT had won. In Friday's paper no mention of CBI. For DFW, UNT doesn't exist except for filler if they need it. Guess they would rather give the two small private schools all the attention.

It really is astounding the way the local media is ignoring this. Our games should be mentioned every time we play. Same for SMU and TCU.
