Defense and Rebounding

Even though we have gone to a small lineup, our defense has just been outstanding, not only tonight but throughout this tournament. 

Defense is helping out, rotating, hustling for loose balls, crashing the boards, etc...  Just outstanding and shouldn't be overlooked when our offense is clicking.  Such a fun team to watch. I hate not living in the DFW area.

I am surprised our defense has been this good with Lawson off the bench and Holston not touching the floor. Miller has been huge on D. He is athletic and plays big for a 6-3 guard.

Arikawe is also contributing off the bench. He was better against Mercer but still played well tonight.

Things were getting quite choppy in the late going tonight.   We got to them early and stayed in their heads.  I loved the defensive energy.

Was impressed with our rebounding as well. Like hickoryhouse mentioned, it got a little ugly at the end there, but only one offense rebound allowed in the first half (Jacksonville State only had 8 total rebounds through the first 20 minutes).
