LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) -- Dwayne Mitchell scored 24 points to lead Louisiana-Lafayette to a 94-81 win over North Texas Thursday night.

Laurie Bridges added 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Ragin' Cajuns (12-5, 7-1 Sun Belt Conference). Brad Boyd and Cedric Williams had 12 points apiece, while Orien Greene dished out six assists.

Leonard Hopkins led North Texas (10-10, 5-3) with 14 points. Ty Thomas added 11 and Jerome Rogers had 10. Michael DeGrate pulled down nine rebounds.

Louisiana-Lafayette led 37-34 at the half before outscoring North Texas 57-47 in the second for the win.

would have been nice to pull a win out here. but we are comming a gain at the end of the season.
