That is a huge factor in player development. It takes your program to the next level. I know Baylor and A&M have nutrition centers specifically for athletes with specific diets customized per individual. A&M actually has separate centers that cater to specific sports.

Another big thing is to provide snacks, energy/protein drinks (the good for you kind) and foods continuously. Fuel so to speak.   You see this at the entrances to the S&C facilities, much like stereotypical juice bars in high end fitness gyms.   Baylor has an entire room for this in their baseball stadium.  To give you an idea on what programs spend on this, Arkansas States' program budget is $100K for these "snacks".   BYU's is three times that.

Can't possibly be so.....remember hearing all those yahoo players from elite schools that say they go to bed hungry and need to be paid so they can buy food, because they never have an opportunity to eat?!?!?!?

Any ideas on why Connor Howard left?

I'd imagine Keegan Brewer, Kam Duhon, Montana Meador, Deion Har-Griffin, Kerry Hall, Jaelon Darden were too much competition.

All those guys are A receivers and thats a lot of reps to share for one position. Even in this offense.

Howard played over multiple of those guys and filled in when Darden has been injured for a game.. not saying it’s not the reason, but the staff thought highly enough for him to play over some of them

Well Brewer, Hall, Meador didn't play last year. So maybe the coaches liked those better and had needs somewhere else? Or maybe he just decided to stop playing. It happens

Yea I didn’t remember him doing much other than returning a few kickoffs last season but it surprised me that he would leave after getting playing time as a true freshman walk-on.
