While I lived in Florida, AFL was very big in Tampa and Orlando.  They regularly sold out their games and had local TV deals, and a pretty good product.  I liked it enough that I was an inaugural-and-only season-ticket holder for the Fort Worth Cavalry when they played at TCCC in 1994 after I moved back to Texas.  Had a lot of fun at those games.

I remember seeing the Austin Wranglers years back. Exciting, cheap fun with the friends. Curious to see where ya boi McMahon takes this XFL 2.0, in regards to off-season football.

In addition to the Dallas team, there's also a team based in Allen.  I came across some free tickets and got to go to a few games in Allen a couple years ago.  It was a lot of fun.  Very family oriented.

Thought the sidekicks were back. Played in Allen? They already fold?

Yes, I think they folded for this season.  I don't remember if the whole league folded, but I think they are trying to come back.

Buy a ticket for the beer garden for the FC Dallas home opener.  It’s March 3rd against Real Salt Lake.  It’s the best fun in the offseason!

I am excited to attend the Dallas Beer Guardians 24 hour tailgate outside Toyota stadium on March 2nd.  The futbol crazies are wild with a 4 hour tailgate but a 24 hour!  This should be fun.  Go FCD!

The Arena Football League got a new commissioner a few years ago and he's been pretty strict with going after NBA/NHL owners only. Where has it gotten them? They'll play with four teams in 2018 at the moment. Philadelphia, second-year Washington and Baltimore who are both owned by Ted Leonsis, and expansion team Albany that is partially owned by Philly. Things aren't looking too bright.

But now there is a handful of indoor football leagues that are mostly based in midsized markets like the IFL, AAL, NAL, CIF, among others.
