Let's see what happens.  He hasn't reported it and still has our offer pinned.

I don't believe that Brett would have printed the article if he didn't have it on good authority.  This recruit is dead meat as far as I am concerned.  I wouldn't have minded if he had turned us down but to accept and then back out to me is disgraceful.  He wasn't committing only promising to come.

I'm like EPE; I don't wish him bad luck.  In fact I don't wish him anything at all.

Since they just had the DT from Cedar hill commit he’s probably regretting that decision

SMU has another commit, but Hs has not signed, Newman that we were interested in.. wonder if we could flip Newman back.

I wonder what he does if he leaves and nothing is offered..  wouldn't that be awkward

Ok, just hypothetical:  He leaves, gets no offer, we still need a DT.  Do we swallow our pride, take him after all this, hoping to see him play with a chip on his shoulder, especially against SMOO?

No. You don't touch him. And hopes he withers into some community college in Nebraska. If a woman turns her back on you, you don't run back to her do you...DO YOU?! A real man says **** no. Lesser men roll out the red carpet for them. UNT needs to be a real man.

Yes we should take the kid.. Hs has talent.. we can act like we shouldn’t take him because of this but we have recruited kids had them commit to us push them alway, just like the OL From college station last year and the punter..

the kid is talented, and would be a solid addition so this class with a P5 offer along the DL. He also plays at a position group that is in need of ALOT size and talent.

Yes, you still take him. Maybe he gets an SMU offer and still chooses us.
