Yeah, but the number of jobs paying that much are in limited supply.  Most are 120 or below, and I'd agree you want to show you're serious about building championship teams and cultures go get big time HS Head Coaches and pay them to come to college.  It's a public university so I believe their salary's can apply towards their TRS Retirement.

      He got a five year deal. He's made $2.5 million off of us so far. ($1.2m in year 1, $1.3m this year) And I believe he gets $100k more each year. So his next three years....he'll get $1.4m, $1.5m and $1.6m. As I bitched about earlier this year, before I stopped going....he didn't show up for his first radio show, and stayed for half of the next four. And yet he gets a $300k a year stiped for radio/TV (which raises his base salary from the original $900k).       Is this what an “offensive genius” looks like?

      The defense was disastrous last night but stop with this "offense did enough to win" crap. A 3 and out and interception in the first 2 drives is not doing enough to win. Were it not for a defensive stop after the onside kick and a Porter 79 yard run, we'd have been down 21-0 and counting. Yes, the defense needs to do more but what high powered offense puts up 7 in a half? This team did the same crap last year. No offense in the first half and then when we put up garbage time points people say "look at the offense." The offense is bordering bad. Tulsa put up 46 on UTSA. Texas State put up 49 and even Rice put up 29. Just to show you where our "high powered offense" stands.
