With the new transfer rule being considered

Does this change recruiting players for teams under the P5 conferences.  Do we really go after 3- 4 star players and have them leave after a year? I dont want to hear we dont get those players anyway. It is a question for teams under the p5 conferences.  It will be interesting to see how it effects recruiting.  If a player moves up to a P5 chances that a player currently on the P5 team will lose his scholarship.  Unless P5 changes the rules on how many scholarships they can hand out.  The big guys can pay their players more.

The rule has not been passed. But no, you never stop going after players you believe you can land regardless of their rating.

Scholarships are a limited resource. I believe that transfers can count against your allowable number of recruits. Even if this rule is passed, which it hasn't yet, there are still only so many available places for a player to land. I don't think this will be something that becomes a bigger issue than it is today. Also, believe that teams will be keeping a close eye on the players and if other schools are contacting them.
