I also don't understand the need for so many offensive linemen.  The OL is one of the least substituted areas.  If we have 3+ to 4 teams of we must have missed on some of the recruits and, if that happened, there's not much talent left to catch up this year.  We will have nine or ten freshmen.

So, I did a little research last night on other team's rosters and this is what I found regarding the number of OL's:

Army - 29

Georgia - 20

Alabama - 18

OU - 19

Clemson - 15 (also list 8 TE)

UTEP - 17

TX Tech - 19

La Tech - 17

Looks like we are pretty average, outside of Army, and nothing is out of the ordinary.
