Anyone up for a road trip?

Just wondering.. we play at Lafayette on Thursday. Would any of you be up for a road trip down there to watch the Mean Green, we could even go to New Orleans afterwards for a one night deal before heading back... just testing the water of interest here.

Ok, so me, hope, untangel, brooklyn, and mdolan have planned out our trip to Lafayette. The more people the better!!! and cheaper Who else wants to go?

We're thinking about leaving on Thursday around 11:00 or 12:00 and staying in Lafayette Thursday night and then heading to New Orleans Friday and staying there one, maybe 2 nights and driving back all day Sat or Sun. We figure it's about $100. Sound worth it to anyone else????

I'm sure they guys could use some fans there for the biggest game ever!!!

And..... we're trying to find out where the team is staying so that maybe we can stay there, too and be with other Mean Green people.

I really wish I could go. I had a blast at the NO bowl, but I need a job before I can start spending again... OR I could get another credit card. Hmmmm, this plan has potential!

Anyone know how much the tickets are for the Lafayette game? If we only went for the game and spent just one night and then came back, it would only be about $30 a person plus food, but you can eat cheap!! That would still be worth it if more people would go that way. Or I suppose one car could go back and one could go on to NO. (our figures are with 4-5 people in one car and in one hotel splitting the costs)

I didn't realize both teams were going to be there - that makes it all the more worth it!! I'll see about the comped tickes idea. Thanks, that was a good idea.
