Sounds like a hot opportunity for anyone who brags about benching 225 more than our linemen!

Keep in mind that the 5 year clock starts when a student enrolls in college.  Some mistakenly think that because a student hasn't played sports that their clock hasn't started.  5 years to play 4, barring some waiver, begins the first day of college.

Darn, just a couple years too short.

I run a 4.6 40 but only because I didn't make it past 15 yards before I was out of breath and had to stop.....

So I run a 4.6 / 15 yard dash (not so much a "dash" but I try real hard)

Are you saying a student that only takes 6 or 9 hours his/her first semester and 6 or 9 hours their second semester has not started their clock ?

Division I five-year clock: If you play at a Division I school, you have five-calendar years in which to play four seasons of competition. Your five-year clock starts when you enroll as a full-time student at any college. Thereafter, your clock continues, even if you spend an academic year in residence as a result of transferring; decide to red shirt, if you do not attend school or even if you go part-time during your college career.
