With Shaw, and now this kid, I'm a lot more excited about the defensive class we've got this year. Not sure how I feel about the other two JuCo guys we got, but this kid can ball.

I think having him, Ejiya, and Ozougwu as our starters would put a lot of speed at LB.

How do JUCO's work?  Can the staff announce this commitment?  Can he sign now or does he have to wait until the February date?

Midyear jucos can sign through January 15th. Otherwise he has to wait until February

Two JUCO's in two years.  Looks like another that has difficulty making decisions.  Just means someone better is out there for us.

I am betting that our lack of NFL ready prospects and drafted players have a role in this.  Judging from the mentioning of "not just for the next 2 years but the next 10+"

However, a positive from this he himself liked the program/school family mentioned how we do not produce NFL players often.

The idea that we think it’s the lack of NFL production is just looking for a reason to doubt or make an excuse.. I’m sorry but ULL, Toledo, Vandy don’t have any better LBs than the guys we have produced off the top of the head. nor are any of them true NFL production factories..

We thought we had 0 chance 3 days ago and now we are in making up excuses.. Could it be he realized how EPICALLY BAD this defense was? could it be he valued the prestige of a Vandy degree over UNT? Could it be the SEC vs CUSA?

Did his family make this statement, or is this just wild speculation?

speculation about him passing on UNT because of lack of NFL production?

100% GMG.com speculation

Why?  If one values their ability, then they would want the opportunity to turn something around?  The other schools that have offered him aren't defensive juggernauts.

With how bad this defense was last year.. he could commit here play 1 year under this staff, theen they are let go and he then may/may not fit into the next staffs schemes..

Again all of this is pure speculation as to the reason for him decommitting. Diving into this is will only drive us into a paranoid state and more self doubt..

The bolded part is what I was referencing.
