Team really looked flat and has not looked good in a while.   NT is not going to beat anyone with Holmes going 1-14.  Bradley was the only player that really looked interested.

They fought pretty hard to get back into it on the road. Disappointing result though. Will be interesting to see how we look on Friday against a good Rice team.

Going to have games like that we are up and down.. Starting 3 Freshman (I Believe) will do that, but it will do a world of good later in the season and years to come. Just have to keep going, trust in JM!

Dug too deep a hole early. Overall, I think we battled and competed to get back in it. Just didn't have enough to get over the mountain.

Also...La Tech never an easy away game. First half pretty much sealed it, but sure like how they fought to get back in it. Agree with GrandGreen, we need Holmes to be “on” to win these road games. Still fun to watch Jalie’s Youngsters get better and better. Certainly will have ups and downs, but I am guessing more ups for this program than downs these days.

I am going to change my comment.   I think the team if anything was too interested and they did play hard.   They just missed far too many easy shots and turned over the ball too many times.   Probably too tight if anything.   

I don't think La Tech is a better team, but NT is going to have to have more than one player effective on the offensive end to beat most CUSA teams.
