Remaining Recruits

Tomorrow begins the early signing day and I just thought I would give a recap of who is left uncommitted that we have offered per 247.

Pro-Style QB:

Clayton Tune: Likely going to Ole Miss

 

Dual Threat QB: 

Cade Fennegan: Likely going to Southern Miss.

Running Back:

Anthony Johnson: Was committed, likely going FCS

 

Wide Receiver:

Tommy Bush: Probably going to Baylor, but might go to Texas

Rondale Moore: Just decommited from Texas. Probably going to Purdue.

Ke'von Ahmad: Has it down to Boise State & San Diego State. I give us less than a 1% chance.

Chritauskie Dove: I like our chances here. I would give us about a 55% chance.

Nikia Jones: Likely going to Iowa State, I give us about a 10% chance here.

Imiee Cooksey: Should be a lock for Tulsa.

Dominick Neal: No clue if our offer is still good, I think he goes to Eastern Michigan.

Chris Welch: I'm thinking this may be a PWO offer, not 100% sure though.

Maurice Edmondson: Haven't heard anything in a while. Likely going FCS.

Carloss Crawford: Seems to like UNT based on twitter activity. Isn't a coach of his on here?

JaQuan Tillis: Really don't have much on him. Maybe he is the one with the coach on here?

 

Tight End: 

Jyaire Shorter: I'm thinking it comes down to us and Houston. I give us a 40% chance.

Brayden Willis: Thinking he goes to Colorado State, give us about a 20% chance here.

 

Offensive Tackle:

Michael Fletcher: Grades/test scores didn't cut it I've heard. A shame

Josh Owens: I don't think we're in the market for another OT right now, especially for a smaller tackle.

Anthonie Thomas: Dude is a mountain. Has interest from Alabama, likely waiting on grades.

 

Defensive End:

Jeremy Fowler: I'm thinking this comes down to us and LA Tech. I give us a 35% chance.

D'emrik Bradford-Thomas: Its between us and Texas State.

Vada King: Was committed to us, but then picked up 3 other offers. Likely thinking he goes to Marshall.

 

Inside Linebacker:

Jacoby Simpson: Seems like a lock for Kansas-State. I would really like this guy but it doesn't seem in the cards for us.

Nicholas Bolton: Don't really knows whats up with this guy. Was committed to the University of Washington.

 

Cornerback:

Chris Stamps: JuCo Cb. Offered by FAU, Kansas, Toledo, & us. I'm thinking he goes to FAU.

 

Safety:

Dayven Coleman: He is going to Illinois.

Issac Beverly: A relative newcomer. Likely going to Memphis.

 

Athlete:

Brant Kuithe: Was committed to Rice. Has a twin brother. Really want them both.

Antonio Gage: Committed to a JuCo.

Rylan McQuarters: No clue at all to be honest.

When you say Chris Welch only has a track scholarship, does that mean the football team is not recruiting him at all? Because you can't be on scholarship through another sport and still play football.

I believe it’s track is the only sport recruiting him. It was brought up in the kids thread when he first got the offer

To my knowledge the football team has had no contact or interest to this point

Disappointing since our former starting LB is a coach down at TVCC and LT snagged 2 LBs from them..
