Wether you are an alumn, a student, a player or staff member these bowl games are one more chance for friends and family to get together and make lasting memories you'll cherish forever.  

Friday night with many friends new and old in front of Fritzel's bar where Stebo ate the crow I prepared for him back in 2001.  Some I haven't seen since our last trip down. 

So good to see y'all again for another great memory. Hope everyone got home safe and sound.

Is Bourbon still torn up?  It was a disaster with construction this summer.

That was a great time for sure.  Mean Green Football in general is about friendships, laughs and sometimes hurricanes and beignets.  I wish we would have had a Mean Green bar to pre-party and soak our sorrows in after the loss.  

Whether we are in Dallas, Fort Worth, Shreveport, Albuquerque or Miami next year I hope to once again Host a toast with these aweome folks!

It was a disaster zone. There is about a 3 block section that is completely blocked off except a 4 ft wide walkway on each sidewalk. And on each side you're walking on sandbags. It was ridiculous and whoever decided to do all of that at the same time needs their head examined.

This is New Orleans, Louisiana you're talking about... Somebody's cousin got the contract for that job, and it'll be over-budget, over-timeline, and done under-specifications.

I was shooting the s with my brothers in NOPD who were saying the budget for the construction has already reached $10 million, and climbing.

Should have asked one of your brothers about trying to carry that knife into the Superdome. 😳😳 Wiuld have saved you the walk back to the hotel.

I did, and I got it taken care of, without having to walk back to the hotel or missing the opening kick, thanks for your concern, although I'm not sure what that has to do with the original post.
